The NBA has released rosters for the 2013 BBVA Rising Stars Challenge game and it would be a great start in planning your franchise's future. Friday night, February 15th in Houston, nine team rosters of first and second year players (drafted by NBA assistant coaches) will kick off All-Star weekend. Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal will again serve as GM's and will draft live on TNT a week from tonight (Thu Feb 7th).

The player pool is listed below, but first a pair of stars that were not invited; Minnesota point guard Ricky Rubio and Boston power forward Jared Sullinger. Who wouldn't want to see Rubio, a modern day Pete Maravich of sorts, in a wide open contest such as this? Sullinger is working his way into the Boston lineup and as Doc Rivers has pointed out, Jared has been a winner his entire life.... except for draft day. The Rajon Rondo injury likely accelerates the rebuild in Bean Town and more of a focus on Sullinger in the paint.
