Ray McDonald is not on the field at the start of practice for second straight day.

There's no word as to whose decision it was for McDonald to not practice with the team, but considering he is facing legal troubles stemming from an arrest for domestic violence and is likely to be suspended by the NFL for a mandatory six games, he's probably not the best guy to have around anyway.ANALYST: Howard Bender

Update: Gorgui Dieng (facial contusion) will not return to Sunday's game.

Dieng failed to score in nine minutes on Sunday before exiting. With Nikola Pekovic sitting this one out, Dieng missed an opportunity for a big game with more minuntes. Analysis: Brett Talley

Coach Byron Scott says there's thought of shutting Nick Young (knee) down for season.

Young hasn't played since late February, so Wesley Johnson should continue to see around 30 minutes per game with Young out. Analysis: Brett Talley

Aron Baynes (ankle) will be available Sunday.

Baynes plays a whopping 10 minutes per game, so Tiago Splitter and Boris Diaw could see marginally more work in his absence. Analysis: Brett Talley

Manager John Farrell has named Edward Mujica the closer to start the season.

This is a strange decision. Sure, Uehara struggled down the stretch last year, but his final numbers for 2014 were still great. He struck out more than 30 percent of batters faced and walked virtually no one. Mujica, on the other hand, has had a below average strikeout rate for three years running. Don't pay anything of consequence for Mujica, and Uehara is a guy to target if you have deep enough roster settings to hold on to him for a bit. Analysis: Brett Talley

Justin Hamilton started the second half in place of Gorgui Dieng Sunday.

With Nikola Pekovic out, Dieng had an opportunity to dominate the minutes at center, but he failed to score in nine minutes of play. Analysis: Brett Talley

Garrett Richards (knee) is scheduled to throw six innings in a minor league game on Thursday.

With Andrew Heaney being sent to the minors, it seems Richards will be good to go when the season starts. If you're drafting this week and the cost to acquire Richards implies that other owners are still hesitant about his health, don't be afraid to take him. Analysis: Brett Talley

Andrew Heaney is likely to begin the season at Triple-A Salt Lake.

It appears the Angels are going to go with Hector Santiago in the rotation to start the season. Santiago has problems with control and keeping the ball in the park, so it;s not hard to envision him having some sort of implosion and Heaney getting the call. Analysis: Brett Talley

David Robertson (forearm) said he's "feeling better" than he did earlier in camp.

The White Sox surely hope their new, expensive closer is healthy come Opening Day, and fantasy owners should as well. Robertson really upped his strikeout game last year with a strikeout rate of 37.1 percent. That swing and miss ability with 35+ saves puts him just a cut below the elite closers in the game. Analysis: Brett Talley

Tony Allen (hamstring) will not play Sunday.

Allen plays almost 30 minutes per night, so Jeff Green should see a nice bump in minutes and value against San Antonio. Analysis: Brett Talley

Shabazz Napier (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's game.

The Heat are missing a bunch of players today, but Napier's 10 or so minutes per game shouldn't be too difficult to redistribute. Analysis: Brett Talley

Rougned Odor left Sunday's game with a bruised left shin.

Thankfully, this doesn't sound like anything to be concerned about. Odor had a very respectable debut last year as 20-year old, hitting .259 with nine home runs in just over 400 plate appearances. With a full season of work, he could approach 15 home runs, and his batting average could improve given how frequently he made contact last year. The future is bright for Odor. Analysis: Brett Talley

Carlos Gonzalez (knee) expects to play again Monday when the Rockies face Oakland.

The fact that Gonzalez is already dealing with an injury issue is discouraging. Unless he comes very cheap on draft day because everyone else in your league is scared of him as well, you probably shouldn't take on the risk. Analysis: Brett Talley
