Carlos Santana went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in the Indians win against the Tigers on Wednesday.

Santana has now homered in back-to-back games and is in the midst of a 6-game hit streak. The multi-positional eligibility is just a bonus for owners who stuck with him through his horrendous early stretch of the season. The low average is still concerning for fantasy owners. He should be started in lineups.ANALYST: Colby Conway

Packers linebacker Clay Matthews (knee) did not practice on Monday.

Coach Mike McCarthy said that his All-Pro middle linebacker is dealing with knee soreness and is watching practice on Monday. There has been no timeline for his return to the practice field but he will rehab the knee.  Analysis: Drew Phelps

Update: Panthers Star Lotulelei was carted off with soreness in his foot. Panthers coach Ron Rivera said it was precautionary.

Good news for the status of the Panthers first round draft pick and for their defensive front. He is dealing with a sore foot and the cart was purely precautionary. The Panthers will take it easy on the rookie Lotulelei over the next couple days at training camp. Analysis: Drew Phelps

Eagles QB Mark Sanchez is taking some snaps with the first team offense on Monday.

Sam Bradford was cleared for practice over the weekend but that did not stop Eagles' head coach Chip Kelly from giving Mark Sanchez first team reps during Monday's practice. All reports have Sam Bradford as the Eagles' number one quarterback but Sanchez will get his work in as well. Bradford was said to have looked "rusty," but Sanchez did not do himself any favors either. Analysis: Drew Phelps

Packers WR Jared Abbrederis (concussion) missed practice again on Monday.

Packers second year wide-out Jared Abbrederis suffered a concussion on July 30th during training camp practice. He will have to go through the league's concussion protocol before returning to camp. Abbrederis missed his entire rookie season with a torn ACL and will need to get his reps in during training camp.  Analysis: Drew Phelps

Chargers lineman Orlando Franklin is not practicing on Monday.

The Chargers signed Franklin to a five year, $36.5 million dollar contract as a free agent this off-season. The expectation is for him to play left guard when the season opens. Franklin left Sunday's practice with a leg injury but the reports are that it is not serious and is just getting a day of rest.  Analysis: Drew Phelps

Giants Bennett Jackson will practice with the first team safeties on Monday.

Jackson has come a long way this off-season as the Giants are converting him from a cornerback to a safety. The original thought was that he would only contribute on special teams after having microfracture surgery last October but he has turned heads at OTAs and training camp. He is also competing at a position where the Giants lack talent and will need him to step up and produce.  Analysis: Drew Phelps

Update: Panthers Star Lotulelei was carted off the field Monday after trainers looked at his foot.

This is as much information as we have at this time. He was taken off the field in a cart after the trainers looked at his foot in the tent just off the practice field. We will keep you updated as more information is given to us. Lotulelei was the 14th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft by the Panthers. He is slated to be the center piece of the Panthers defensive line. Analysis: Drew Phelps

Bears WR Eddie Royal has left practice early on Monday.

Royal left practice on a cart but was able to jog over and hop in with no signs of pain. In training camp, getting taken away on a cart does not mean the same as if it happened during a game. We will have to wait until after practice to get the full report on his reason for heading to the locker room. There are a lot of guys pushing for that number two wide receiver position opposite Alshon Jeffery including Royal, rookie Kevin White and third year wide-out Marquess Wilson.  Analysis: Drew Phelps

Update: Matt Elam is scheduled to undergo surgery on his torn bicep.

The injury occurred on Saturday during practice after trying to make a routine tackle. Elam lost his starting strong safety job to Will Hill and overall has been a disappointment since being drafted 32nd overall in the 2013. The injury will force the Ravens to put him on the IR and have him start rehabbing for the 2016 NFL season. Analysis: Drew Phelps

Bears CB Alan Ball will not practice Monday.

All reports out of training camp say that Ball is fully recovered from his torn biceps injury which he suffered back in October of 2014. This is the first season that he'll be thrust into major playing time after being in a reserve role in Chicago. He has been graded out by Pro Football Focus as better against the run than he did versus the pass. The Bears are giving him a day of rest on Monday.  Analysis: Drew Phelps

Bears WR Alshon Jeffery remains out of practice on Monday.

Jeffery suffered a minor AC joint sprain on Sunday but was able to finish practice. He is being held out of practice on Monday for precautionary reasons. He is the assumed number one wide receiver with Brandon Marshall in New York now. This is a contract year for Jeffery and should be in line to put up huge numbers in 2015, if he remains healthy.  Analysis: Drew Phelps

Panthers DT Star Lotulelei limped off the field Monday and is being looked at by the trainers.

Lotulelei was the 14th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft by the Panthers. He is slated to be the center piece of the Panthers defensive line. We will have to wait until after the trainers get a look at him before making any decisions on his status.  Analysis: Drew Phelps

Braves SS Andrelton Simmons to have an MRI on Monday.

The Braves are positive spin on the injury calling it a sprain but we will have to wait until after the MRI to determine just how severe it really is. Braves Manager Fredi Gonzalez said, "I'm hoping, but I'm always a glass half-full kind of guy." The injury occurred on Saturday while diving for a ball.  Analysis: Drew Phelps

Joe Mauer is not in Mondays starting lineup.

The Twins face the Blue Jays newly acquired ace David Price on Monday. They have decided to give Mauer gets a day off against the stud lefty. Trevor Plouffe will take his spot at first base. Even though Plouffe is batting third on Monday, that $3200 price tag on Fanduel this afternoon might be a bit too steep against Price. Eduardo Nunez has one career home run against Price and will bat second and play third base which could make a great value at $2200. Analysis: Drew Phelps
