Justin Verlander fell to 12-12 after he allowed seven runs (six earned) on nine hits and a walk with seven strikeouts over 6.2 innings in a loss to the Indians on Wednesday.

Verlander had an inconsistent year to say the least. Owners who have Verlander have been extremely disappointed with his performance. He is now at a modest 12-12 record with an ERA well above 4.00. Verlander is no longer the must-start fantasy option he was the past few years. Proceed with caution, extreme caution.
