Manager John Farrell says Dustin Pedroia (head) is improving, expected to return on Friday.
Friday seems like a reasonable target date, though we'll have to see how he does with his final concussion tests before activation. Even if he returns to the lineup though, you'd have to expect the Sox to give him a little more rest time than usual over the final month just to ensure his health.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Zach Miller caught two passes on seven targets for 10 yards and a TD on Thursday night vs Green Bay.
Miller got the start in place of the injured Martellus Bennett on Thursday night. In all, he finished with two catches and a touchdown on seven targets, looking mediocre, however doing his best with the hand he was dealt. Anyone who started him in daily leagues could have expected better, however it is a bit spoiled to come away with much more than a TD as a definite backup. Consider him a wise play on Thursday night, and a keen start going forward at least until Bennett comes back healthy. Analysis: Dom Murtha
