Carlos Santana went 1-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and two walks in the Indians loss to the Tigers on Tuesday.
The home run was Santana's 23rd of the season, and the big night raised his season line to a respectable .230/.366/.430. He's played 11 games behind the dish this season, which should be enough for him to keep catcher eligibility in 2015. ANALYST:
Ex-coach Josh Heupel talked Sam Bradford out of quitting.
Not the most encouraging news if you are an Eagles fan as Bradford is now your starting QB and was a decision away from ending his career. The former St. Louis Ram has torn an ACL twice in his six year career and never fully developed into the number one overall talent that he garnered. He gets a fresh start in Philly after being traded for Nick Foles and joins Chip Kelly's high powered offense that has been revamped for 2016. Analysis: Rob Trayah
