Fantasy Player Updates & News  2016 MLB Draft Guide Is Here!

Broncos WR Wes Welker has been suspended four games for use of amphetamines.

Welker's availability was already in question after suffering his third concussion and in all likelihood he would have missed a game or two. The suspension could be a blessing as it will allow for Welker to gain additional time to heal. ANALYST: Jonathan Impemba

Kevin Love told reporters that his injury was just a stinger and he expects to be ready to play following the All-Star break.

Love now has a few days to rest that injured shoulder, which happens to be the same one he injured late last year. Barring any setbacks, Love should be ready post All-Star break to continue playing at the high level he was of late. Analysis: Colby Conway

Jazz forward Chris Johnson X-rays came back negative after he suffered a sprained toe on Wednesday.

The negative X-ray result reveals there is nothing structurally wrong with Johnson's toe, which is obviously good news. He should be just fine in a few days. Analysis: Colby Conway

Celtics center Kelly Olynyk suffered a shoulder subluxation on Wednesday and will get X-rays to determine the severity of the injury.

Olynyk is considered day-to-day for the time being, but the X-ray will reveal more information on the severity of his injury. The All-Star break comes at a good time for Olynyk, because he will now have a few days to rest his achy shoulder. Analysis: Colby Conway

Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue told reporters after Wednesday's game that Kevin Love has a shoulder contusion that it is not considered to be serious.

Owners of Love in fantasy leagues can now let out a sigh of relief. The contusion isn't expected to be serious, signifying that Love should be ready following the All-Star break. Analysis: Colby Conway

George Hill scored 12 points (5-12 FGA, 1-2 FTA) with two assists, two rebounds, one steal, and one block over 32 minutes in Wednesday’s loss against the Hornets.

After a very pedestrian start to the season, Hill has begun to turn on the jets in February. He’s averaging 15.0 points, 4.4 assists, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game during the month. The Pacers have started to labor and have looked to some of the pieces surrounding Paul George to give them some support. Hill’s name has recently be thrown around in some trade rumors but it hasn’t seemingly affected his ability to play through it. Hill’s at his best, and most valuable, when he’s knocking shots down from the three-point line. He hasn’t shot the three-ball better than 33-percent over his three games. The last time he hit north of two three-pointers, he hit 4-of-8 and scored 23 points. If we begin to see that more often, Hill’s value will sky rocket. Analysis: James Grande

Myles Turner scored 10 points (4-11 FGA, 2-2 FTA) with five rebounds over 23 minutes in Wednesday’s loss against the Hornets.

The rookie has been impressive since joining the starting lineup, but Wednesday’s game wasn’t one of his shiniest performances. Even though he scored 10-plus points for the fourth straight contest, he did so on a measly 36-percent shooting. But since entering the starting lineup, Turner’s averaged 13.3 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game. He’s even recorded two double-doubles as a starter. He has shown some serious skill on both sides of the ball. He’s an excellent shot blocker that will only get better the more time he gets. He also has a few post moves he’ll showcase throughout the night, to go with a face up jumper he can knock down as far out as 18 feet. As long as Turner remains with the first-unit, he’ll be a viable fantasy option, in all formats. Analysis: James Grande

Paul George scored 22 points (8-18 FGA, 4-4 FTA) with eight rebounds, six assists and one block over 33 minutes in Wednesday’s loss against the Hornets.

George was the only real source of offense for the Pacers against the Hornets in Wednesday’s affair. He was the only Pacer who scored north of 12 points and the only one that hit more than one three-point shot, knocking down 2-of-5 from the promise land. George has now scored 20 or more points in four straight games after a four-game stretch in which he didn’t reach the 20-point mark once. PG13 had one real incredible month this season, like he does every year, but has since regressed, like he does, you guessed it…every year. The regression hasn’t been that dramatic in fantasy, however. He still contributes in so many categories, he’s one of the better small-forward plays in the game. Analysis: James Grande
