Ryan Braun hit his 18th home run of the year on Sunday, a solo blast in the eighth inning, but the Brewers were blown-out 15-5 by the Giants.
Braun swatted his 18th long ball of the year in today's blowout defeat. Braun has had a nice bounce back year after the steroid scandal of 2013. He should reach 20 home runs by the end of the year, but he may never have an MVP season again. He is still a solid #2 outfielder in all formats.ANALYST: Colby Conway
Sean Marshall (shoulder) has resumed throwing from flat ground.
Marshall was shut down at the beginning of spring training with shoulder soreness, but has resumed throwing. Last June, Marshall underwent season ending shoulder surgery after making just 15 appearances in 2014. The only thing scarier than last season's 7.71 ERA is the fact that he has had some sort of shoulder injury in each of the last three seasons. Leave this guy off your draft board. Nathan Eovaldi has been working on improving his splitter during spring training.
Eovaldi is more of a thrower than a pitcher right now, but the Yankees are hoping he can develop into a mainstay in their rotation. Even though he hasn't had a winning season in his four year career, his velocity is hope for optimism. Eovaldi got knocked around a lot last year, but he doesn't walk many batters, something else the Yankees are excited about. Eovaldi is going late in drafts and there is some solid value to be had if he can take the next step forward. Analysis: Colby Conway
