49ers Aldon Smith has been suspended without pay for the first nine games.
Roger Goodell and the NFL are on a rampage here and while some fans might be upset, it is the intelligent and sensible fan who understands that this type of action is needed. Smith has been stopped for drunk driving multiple times, he's had both illegal narcotics and firearms found both in his car and on his person and has had the police summoned to his home on more than one occasion due to problems caused by gang member with whom he associates regularly. He had a mandated stint in rehab last year and was allowed to return to the field and he obviously didn't learn a single thing. Keep taking away their likelihood and maybe, just maybe, they'll wise-up and stop being such morons.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Doug McDermott (back) did not practice Tuesday.
It was reported on Saturday that McDermott suffered a setback on Saturday which caused him to miss a game. It looks like now, it could be more than a one game setback. He has not been a consistent part of the rotation, so his absence won't have many fantasy implications. Analysis: Drew Phelps
Dion Waiters (foot) did not practice Tuesday.
RIght now, Waiters should be considered questionable for the Thunder's Wednesday night match up against the Mavericks. Coach Brooks said his foot is feeling better but still not 100%. Andre Roberson has already been ruled out, which means Anthony Morrow could be in line for all the minutes he can handle if Waiters is unable to play. Analysis: Drew Phelps
Nick Collison and Andre Roberson remain out with those sprained ankles. Neither have practiced.
We originally heard "at least 10-days" without Collison on March 21st when he sprained his ankle. The Thunder have been so depleted with injuries, it has been amazing what they've been able to accomplish. Kevin Durant is now out for the season, it looks like Serge Ibaka won't be back until the end of the regular season which could be the end of Oklahoma City's season and Enes Kanter is struggling with an ankle issue. Steven Adams and Mitch McGary have had to carry the load. Analysis: Drew Phelps
