Josh Hamilton is dealing with tightness in the back of his left knee.
Josh Hamilton is usually dealing with some type of medical issue and today it is his knee. At this point, Hamilton is going to have to play through minor aches and pains as the Angels march towards a playoff spot. They need his bat in the lineup considering that he's been quite hot over the last week. He should be fine going forward, but this is an issue worth paying attention to.ANALYST: David Kerr
Mark Teixeira went 3-for-4 with a solo home run against the Mets on Saturday.
That’s Tex’s eighth home run of the year. He won’t continue to hit home runs at this rate, but it’s not unreasonable to think he can hit 25 or more this year. He has also drawn as many walks as he has strikeouts. And he’s hitting .254 despite a .163 BABIP. That’s mainly because most of the balls he’s hitting are leaving the yard right now, but it’s still encouraging for his batting average going forward. Analysis: Brett Talley
