Greg Hardy did not practice on Monday to rest his bruised shoulder.

Hardy left the last preseason game with the injury and it seems to be lingering now. He'll miss this week's preseason game, but the Panthers expect him to be on the field for Week 1.ANALYST: Howard Bender

Royals sign 1B Casey Kotchman to a minor league deal.

Kotchman, who hasn't done anything worth mentioning since his 12-Home-run, .229 season in 2012, isn't worth keeping an eye on in any fantasy formats. Analysis: Brad Costilo

Kendrys Morales says he has lost 12 pounds in the offseason.

Morales was one of the bigger disappointments of the 2014 fantasy season, hitting about 60 points below his career average (which has dropped to .271 after his .218 average last year) with only eight Home-runs in 98 games. Hopefully, the leaner Morales will produce more like the Morales of old this year.  Analysis: Brad Costilo

Jamal Crawford (calf) will not play Sunday.

Crawford was on a fantastic scoring streak, posting at least 13 points per game since February 1st, prior to injuring his calf on Monday. As soon as he returns to the starting lineup, you can return him to your fantasy lineup. Analysis: Brad Costilo

Matt Barnes (hamstring) will not practice Friday and is questionable for Sunday.

Barnes, who averages 9.6 points and 4.0 rebounds per game this year, isn't someone who you're looking to have in your lineup regardless of health. Analysis: Brad Costilo

David Price confirmed once again he's open to signing a long-term extension with Tigers, but said there haven't been any conversations yet.

The former Cy-Young Award winner has acknowledged that his contract situation is a distraction, and he would like to see it resolved prior to the season starting so that he can stop thinking about it and focus on his pitching. That being said, Price also said that the trade to Detroit was a distraction last year, and he still managed to put up a 3.59 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, 82 Strikeout stat-line in 77.2 innings after joining the Tigers. Continue to view Price as a solid SP1 option, in the group of pitchers ranked just behind Kershaw and King Felix on draft boards. Analysis: Brad Costilo

Devin Harris (hand) is doubtful for Friday's game.

Harris, who averaged 21.3 points per game in 2008-09 with the Nets, hasn't been a fantasy relevant player in several years (averaging less than 10 points per game since 2011-12). This injury shouldn't have any impact on your fantasy team. Analysis: Brad Costilo

Update: Matt Harvey, who hit 99 mph on the radar gun Friday in two perfect innings: "I feel like I never left."

If you were watching Twitter this afternoon, you know that Matt Harvey's dominant appearance today, which was his first since undergoing Tommy John surgery in 2013, was one of the biggest stories around. If Harvey can continue to show the speed and control that he had prior to his surgery, like he did today, you will see him jump up into the second or third round of most fantasy leagues in a very short amount of time. Analysis: Brad Costilo

Orioles have signed RHP Elih Villanueva.

Villanueva is not likely to make the Orioles rotation out of spring training this year, coming off of a disappointing 2014 season in which he had a 4.47 ERA and a 1.42 WHIP in 137 innings in AAA. Feel free to ignore him on draft day.  Analysis: Brad Costilo

Jose Iglesias was removed from Friday's game early after banging his shin on a steal.

Iglesias, who's value is mainly in his defensive ability, is coming back from having stress fractures in both of his legs, an issue that cost him the entire 2014 season.  Analysis: Brad Costilo

Nick Young (knee) will not play Friday.

At this point, Nick Young has only scored more than 10 points in a game three times in the last six weeks (in large part due to his only being active in eight times during that period), and there's no reason to have him in your fantasy lineup until he strings together a couple of double-digit-scoring performances. Analysis: Brad Costilo

J.J. Barea (thumb sprain) is questionable for Friday's game.

With Barea only scoring more than 10 points in 17 of 63 games thus far, there is no reason to have him on your fantasy roster at this point. Analysis: Brad Costilo

Daniel Murphy departed Friday's spring game with a right hand bruise.

Daniel Murphy wasn't having a great week prior to injuring his hand, as his statements that he "disagrees with the lifestyle of people who are gay" have been highly scrutinized across both mainstream and social media. That being said, Murphy is one of only a handfull of NL-second basemen that are capable of posting double-digit Home-runs and Steals, along with a solid Batting Average (career .290 hitter), so it's certainly worth monitoring his hand situation in the coming days. Analysis: Brad Costilo Mobile App
