Mike Trout went 2-for-5 with a home run and two runs scored in the Angels win over the A's on Sunday.
The lack of stolen bases this season might be the only complaint Trout owners will have by seasons end but, his 29 home runs is just one away from his career high and his 91 RBI are just six away from his career high of 97 that he set last year. Trout is still just 23 years old and his 5-tool talent will make him one of the most exciting baseball players for many years to come.ANALYST: Jonathan Impemba
Jon Lester said he feels good after his live batting practice session on Friday.
The Cubs have very high expectations after signing the 31-year old lefty to a six-year, $155 million deal in the offseason. The move to the NL should help maintain that 9.01 K/9 he had last season and if he can maintain his usual walk rate and groundball rate, he should be able to keep the ratios down as well. If you miss out on one of the top-tiered pitchers in your draft, a fourth-round Lester isn;t such a bad anchor for your rotation. Analysis: Howard Bender
