FANTASY PLAYER UPDATES & NEWS

Carlos Gonzalez (knee) was transferred to the 60-day disabled list on Sunday.

CarGo had season ending knee surgery so the move to the 60-day DL was to open up a slot on the 40-man roster for pitcher Christian Bergman who started today's game. ANALYST: Jonathan Impemba

Andrew Miller picked up save No. 8, giving up a hit and striking out one in New York's 4-1 win over Tampa Bay.

Miller gave up his first hit in his last four outing, but it caused no harm. He has put a strangle-hold on the closer role even thought Dellin Betances has yet to give-up a run this season. The tall left-handed reliever now has 17 strikeouts in just 9 1/3 innings while allowing just seven baserunners. If you got him on the waiver wire, Miller owners are smiling knowing that being patience might have paid off in the draft. Analysis: Rob Trayah

Brian McCann went 2-for-4 with solo home-run to go with two runs as the Yankees beat the Rays, 4-1.

After receiving a day-off on Sunday, McCann hit his second homer of the season, his first in over ten games. He has alternated multi-hit games during his last six starts, but the power has not been there. If McCann is able to find the short-porch in right, his numbers can see an uptick, but if not, his fantasy owners might be in for a long season. Analysis: Rob Trayah

Adam Warren went 5 2/3 innings striking out six while giving up one run on five hits at the Yankees beat the Rays, 4-1.

Warren's effort ended in a no decision, but it was solid start as he has yet to get to through six innings. It was his season-high in strikeouts with six, but his 2:8 GB/FB ratio is a scary number. This was probably his best effort of the season, but it won't get much better if you're expecting anything more. Analysis: Rob Trayah
