Jonathon Niese gave up five runs (two earned) on eight hits and three walks with four strikeouts over 6.2 innings against the Dodgers on Friday.

Though obviously it came with a little help from the game's official scorer, Niese managed to post his third-consecutive quality start and has four in his last five outings. Despite some of his recent stumbles, Niese still maintains a solid 3.47 ERA with a 106:42 K:BB over 148 innings this year. He's got a tough start coming up against the Braves next week.
