Jonathon Niese gave up five runs (two earned) on eight hits and three walks with four strikeouts over 6.2 innings against the Dodgers on Friday.
Though obviously it came with a little help from the game's official scorer, Niese managed to post his third-consecutive quality start and has four in his last five outings. Despite some of his recent stumbles, Niese still maintains a solid 3.47 ERA with a 106:42 K:BB over 148 innings this year. He's got a tough start coming up against the Braves next week.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Dwyane Wade (knee) is listed as questionable for Friday's game.
Wade didn't play on Wednesday due to a sore knee, so of course he is questionable for Friday. If he isn't in the starting lineup, Mario Chalmers will once again get the start and see a bump in value. Wade has been relatively healthy this season and has produced in a big way in the process. He's averaging 21.6 points and 5.2 assists per game. Analysis: David Kerr
Ross Detwiler has made the Rangers starting rotation.
There are far worse pitchers with starting jobs in baseball, so Detwiler is deserving of this chance. He's bounced back and forth between the starting rotation and the bullpen while pitching for the Nationals, but should settle in as a member of the Rangers' rotation. He has solid value in AL-Only leagues. Analysis: David Kerr
