Xander Bogaerts is being evaluated for a concussion after getting hit by a pitch in the head earlier in the game.
Bogaerts was hit in the head in the bottom of the fifth inning, but remained in the game until he was removed during the top of the seventh inning. The Red Six will likely update us on the results of his concussion test soon. He was 0-1 prior to leaving the game and was replaced by Brock Holy at shortstop.ANALYST: Ben Diamond
LeSean McCoy and Fred Jackson could split third-down snaps.
Due to his tenure in Buffalo, Jackson is going to get some work, but this won't be a 50/50 split by any means. McCoy is an uber-talented back who will be the bell cow out in Buffalo. Fantasy owners who draft McCoy in drafts this upcoming season should also draft Jackson, solely as a handcuff option. The reported split should be taken with a grain of salt until we get clarification closer to season time. Analysis: Colby Conway
Marlins released SS Yosmany Guerra.
Guerra is 32 years old and has yet to play at a level higher than Double-A. He wasn't really a fantasy asset to begin with, but this news just confirms that notion. If for some unforsaken reason you rostered Guerra, it is time to release him, just like the Marlins did today. Analysis: Colby Conway
