Manager Don Mattingly said Hanley Ramirez remains on track for activation from the disabled list on Sunday, his earliest day eligible to return.

Ramirez has been out of action since going down with an oblique injury on August 8, and in now expected to be back at shortstop for the Dodgers this weekend. Through 354 at-bats, Ramirez is slashing .277/.367/.455 with 12 home runs, 58 RBI and 12 stolen bases while hitting in the middle of the Dodgers lineup. Once back in the mix fantasy owners may want to wait a day or two before reinserting him into starting lineups. ANALYST: Matthew Beck

Gordon Hayward scored 13 points (3-8 FGA), grabbed three rebounds, and recorded two assists in the Jazz 98-84 victory over the Nuggets on Wednesday night.

Hayward was disappointing on Wednesday night, as he managed only 13 points on an underwhelming 3-of-8 shooting. Luckily the bigs had this game on lockdown, otherwise, the Jazz likely would have lost. This is an atypical night from the former Butler standout, so in any case, expect him to finish up the season strong.  Analysis: Dom Murtha

Derrick Favors scored 19 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and recorded three blocks in the Jazz 98-84 victory over the Nuggets on Wednesday night.

Not only did Favors have 19 points and seven rebounds, but he also added an impressive three blocks to his stat line, and was integral to the Jazz easy success over the Nuggets. Expect him to finish up the season in strong fashion, and to be a part of one of the best young frontcourts in the NBA going forward.  Analysis: Dom Murtha

Rudy Gobert scored 20 points (7-7 FGA), grabbed 12 rebounds, and recorded two blocks in the Jazz 98-84 victory over the Nuggets on Wednesday night.

Gobert was dominant in the paint on Wednesday night, as he scored 20 points on a perfect 7-of-7 from the floor, while also hauling in an impressive 12 rebounds, and swatting two potential Denver baskets. Going into next season, Gobert is expected to take the next step as a big man and will likely be taken high in fantasy drafts. Feel lucky if you are in a keeper league.  Analysis: Dom Murtha

Will Barton scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the Nuggets loss to the Jazz on Wednesday night.

There is something to be said for what Barton has been doing of late. A guy who has been averaging lowly numbers throughout most of the season, is now averaging 10.8 points and 6.8 rebounds over his last five games. Considering this, he might be worth a bargain buy in daily leagues. Analysis: Dom Murtha

Ty Lawson scored 15 points and recorded three assists in the Nuggets loss to the Jazz on Wednesday night.

Lawson led this sorry attack to the tune of a lousy 15 points and three assists. The team as a whole had a really off night, including Lawson, so for that he gets a pass because when going right, Lawson is one of the best point guards in the league. Expect better play out of the former Tarheel to finish up the season. Analysis: Dom Murtha

Kenneth Faried scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the Nuggets loss to the Jazz on Wednesday night.

The Manimal had himself an impressive double-double on Wednesday night, as he scored 19 points and grabbed 10 boards. The impressive part is that nearly half of his rebounds were offensive, proving that even at a severe height/length disadvantage against Gobert and Favors, he can still hold his own. These numbers aren’t expected from Faried every night, but are something that he is capable of.  Analysis: Dom Murtha
