Jake Peavy held the Cubs to two runs on ten hits and no walks with eight strikeouts over seven innings in a 8-3 win at Wrigley field on Wednesday.

Peavy scores well here with the quality start and the eight strikeouts and no walks, but 10 hits? Man, that's a lot and that's a lot pitching himself out of a ton of jams, isn't it? Credit the defense for assistance on eight ground ball outs and throw some criticisms at the Cubs for some hacking, but Peavy comes away with his second-straight win as well as quality start. He'll face the Rockies his next time out, though fortunately, a home start for him.
