Manager Matt Williams remains confident Ryan Zimmerman will return from his hamstring injury before season's end.
Well that's all well and good but the real question is, if he comes back, where do you play him? With Anthony Rendon at third, Ian Desmond at short, Asdrubal Cabrera at second and Adam LaRoche at first and then a full and productive outfield, where does Zimmerman fit? You can feel free to stash him on your DL, but even if he does come back this season he's probably not going to see enough at-bats to even potentially make a fantasy impact.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Lions will not use the franchise tag on DT Ndamukong Suh.
There has been a lot of back-and-forth internally as to whether the Lions want to bring Suh back and obviously cost is a major issue as he will command quite the hefty salary on the open market. But they won't use the franchise tag here as they know the bitterness it will cause between player and team. Look for the Lions to make the defensive lineman a competitive offer but they won't break the bank to keep him. Analysis: Howard Bender
Le'Veon Bell could face up to a suspension of four games.
According to the new substance-abuse policy, the DUI arrest requires a mandatory two-game suspension. The fact that there was also marijuana involved opens the door for, according to the policy, a suspension of "up to four games." Considering the way the NFL continues to handle things and the fact that Bell is now, after a dynamic rookie season, a new face of the NFL, look for it to just stay at two games.
