Chris Perez said he'll pitch again on Friday and Monday.
There was talk of a shortened rehab assignment, but the Dodgers want to make sure that Perez' ankle is properly healed and that he is ready to return. He'll throw Friday and Monday at High-A Rancho Cucamonga and from there, the team will make another evaluation to see if he's actually ready to return.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Jed Lowrie left Monday's game with a thumb injury. He's going back to Houston Tuesday for an MRI.
In all likelihood Jonathan Villar or Marwin Gonzalez will fill in for Lowrie if he misses extended time, but there's an outside chance the first-place Astros call up uber-prospect Carlos Correa for his first major league taste. Correa is murdering the Texas League (Double-A) to the tune of .375/.429/.719 with four home runs and two stolen bases. He's worth a speculative add in competitive leagues until the situation becomes more clear. Astros GM Jeff Luhnow has hinted that he wouldn't be scared to "lift" Correa straight from Double-A at some point. Analysis: Spencer Silva
