Jonathan Papelbon collected his 29th save after allowing one hit while striking out on batter in a scoreless ninth inning in Monday's win over the Mariners.

The Phillies closer has yet to give up an earned run in the month of August while owning a 6:2 K:BB rate over his last 5.0 innings. Having now converted 29 of his first 32 save opportunities this season, Papelbon makes for a solid fantasy option as long as he continues to limit both his walks (13 BB) and home runs (only 1 HR allowed) the rest of the way, even if he doesn't pitch as much as we would like to see.
