Manager Ron Gardenhire just got ejected by home-plate umpire Chris Segal from the dugout.
After seeing Lloyd McClendon get thrown out of back to back games this weekend, I am wondering about this new war between umps and managers.ANALYST: Ivar G. Anderson
Jarrod Parker (elbow) hit 92 mph in his simulated game on Saturday.
Parker's surgery was in March of last year, knocking him out for all of 2014. Recovery has gone well for him, and he made a big step earlier in the Spring by throwing to live hitters. This was his second Tommy John procedure, so it's not a surprise that the Athletics are taking it slow with him. Parker had a decent year in 2013, his second full season in the majors, throwing 197 innings en route to a 3.97 ERA and 134 strikeouts. He's not a viable fantasy option this year, though, due to his injury. Analysis: Ben Diamond
