Boston manager John Farrell said he will find ways to get outfielder Daniel Nava into the lineup.
Nava has been one of the teams best hitters since June averaging over .300 for each month. Nava hit .303 last year for the Red Sox but started this year in a terrible slump that ultimately cost him a demotion to the minors. Given that he has shown he can hit for a solid average in the past Nava could be a decent waiver pick up for those in need of some outfield help. ANALYST: Jonathan Impemba
Cameron Maybin went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday’s 7-1 loss to the Mets.
Maybin is seeing plenty of time in center field for the Braves right now, as he is a strong defensive player with exceptional range. At the plate, he has been anything but consistent, going just 4-for-28 over the last eight games. However, Maybin has displayed an unexpected power stroke, as three of those hits have left the yard. With enough at-bats, the fleet-footed 28 year old could have a shot at 15/15 production with regards to homers and steals. Analysis: Nate Miller
