With no clear room for Daisuke Matsuzaka anyway, Terry Collins said late Saturday that he expected the right-hander to make another minor-league start before being activated from the disabled list.
One more start in the minors won't hurt and it's a good way to keep him active while the team gets a chance to watch Jacob deGrom and Rafael Montero. Based on how each of them do, the Mets will set up their rotation for the next few weeks and possibly the duration of the season.ANALYST: Howard Bender
The Astros optioned Matt Dominguez to minor-league camp on Sunday
After playing in the majors each of the last two seasons with the Marlins and the Astros it appears he will have to prove to his team that he is still a big league caliber player.
