Zack Wheeler moved to 8-8 after giving up just two runs on four hits and four walks with 10 strikeouts over 6.2 innings against the Cubs on Friday.

Wheeler is now sporting a 3.49 ERA and 1.33 WHIP through 25 starts in 2014, while sitting on a solid 8.88 K/9 over 147.0 innings. Although his walks are rather high (62 BB), he has managed to allow just 11 home runs up to this point as he keeps his opposition hitting at a .244 clip. The Mets young hurler will look to keep up the pace when he takes on the A's on Wednesday.
