Anthony Davis is not practicing Friday for the U.S. due to a stiff neck.
Given the injuries Team USA has seen recently, they're not going to take any chances with anyone. Davis will take a seat for practice and will be considered day-to-day.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Miguel Castro will open the season in the majors.
Castro flew under the radar in the minors last season, but is making the rare jump from A-Ball to the majors. This is thanks to his (likely) temporary move to the bullpen for the Spring, which enabled his stuff to tick up a bit in shorter outings. He's likely next in line to receive saves should Brett Cecil fail, and the 20-year old is worth keeping an eye on. Analysis: Ben Diamond
