Chris Archer improved to 8-6 after allowing just one run on four hits and two walks while striking out 12 batters over seven innings in Wednesday's 10-1 win over the Rangers.
Archer has now allowed just two earned runs over his last two starts, while owning a 18:3 K:BB rate over that stretch (13.0 IP). Despite a not-so-great record, Archer has managed a 3.24 ERA and 1.28 WHIP over 24 starts while sporting a 135:54 K:BB rate in 144.2 innings. Although a strikeout performance like he displayed tonight is not going to happen everyday, he can still be a solid asset down the stretch for contending fantasy teams. He will look to keep up the pace when he takes on the Tigers in his next start on Tuesday.ANALYST: Matthew Beck
DeMarcus Ware will not play Week 12.
This is the third straight game Ware is going to miss due to a back injury. Even after missing the last two games, Ware stills leads the Broncos with 6 1/2 sacks. He's as demonstrative to quarterbacks as always, even at 33 years old. Analysis: James Grande
