In his first start off the disabled list, Michael Pineda allowed just one run on two hits while striking out four batters over five innings of work against the Orioles on Wednesday.
Indians optioned P Josh Tomlin to Triple-A Columbus.
Tomlin has some upside if he can repeat his 8.13 K/9 from last season, but home runs will likely always be an issue. Tomlin has allowed 1.41 HR/9 over his big league career, far too high for him to be a consistent fantasy producer. He will almost certainly be in the rotation at some point and could even get the call up before Danny Salazar even though Salazar has far more upside for fantasy. Analysis: Steve Pimental
