Glen Perkins recorded his 30th save of the season after tossing a perfect ninth inning while striking out one batter against the Astros on Wednesday.
The 30th save marks back to back seasons with 30 saves for Perkins who saved 36 for the Twins last year. Despite the lack of success the Twins are having Perkins continues to be one of the leagues best closers. ANALYST: Jonathan Impemba
Mo Williams (knee) will play Friday against the Wizards.
As he has been playing through this knee issue, Williams' shooting percentage has been dreadfully low (23-percent). Considering this, do exactly what the Hornets are doing: play him with caution. Williams is a tealented guard, but be reasonable with your expectations, as he has struggled with his shot while dealing with the injury. Analysis: Dom Murtha
Brad Miller not in the Mariners lineup Friday because of an illness.
Considering Miller committed an atrocious 18 errors in a mere 107 games last season, one would be led to believe that he has the plate presence of Tony Gwynn in order to hold down the Mariners starting shortstop position, however that is not at all the case, as Miller hit a lowly .221, with 10 homers, 36 RBI, and boasted an inexcuseable .288 OBP in 2014. Stay away from him in drafts. Analysis: Dom Murtha
