UPDATES & NEWS
Jeremy Hellickson allowed zero runs on six hits and one walk with six strikeouts over six innings in a no decision against the Rangers on Tuesday.
After three less-than-spectacular outings to mark his return to the rotation, Hellickson has now posted back-to-back quality starts with a 0.69 ERA and 9:1 K:BB over 13 innings. He's not exactly out of the woods yet and ready to be a regular staple in your rotation, but you can certainly start streaming him for favorable starts. His next outing, a home start against the Yankees, should be a decent place to start.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Update: Corey Dickerson was removed from Saturday's game with a left quad injury.
While the news regarding Dickerson's plantar fasciitis was positive, he was removed after he fouled a ball off his back leg and is now day-to-day with what the team is calling a quad injury. When his leg appeared to be swollen, manager Walt Weiss opted to play it safe and remove Dickerson who had gone 0-for-3 in Saturday's game against the Giants. Consider him day-to-day for right now and figure he'll be a game-time decision for Sunday. Analysis: Howard Bender
