Troy Tulowitzki (left hip) will visit a specialist on Wednesday to talk treatment options.
Reports are that Tulo continues to have discomfort in his hip. Given the fact that he has yet to begin a rehab assignment nor have the Rockies eluded to any timetable for his return it is possible that Tulo might miss the entire month of August. His visit on Wednesday will go a long way in deciding Tulo's availability going forward.ANALYST: Jonathan Impemba
Antonio Smith may sit out practice this week.
Smith is the subject of a child abuse investigation in Texas. The case has been dragging on for some time now, with the DA sifting through the report from the Fort Bend County Sheriff since February. Even if the case is ultimately dropped by the prosecutor, Smith could still face discipline from the league as part of its effort to improve its public image, as part of the personal conduct policy under the CBA between the players union and the league.
