Yasiel Puig went 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored in Monday's 6-2 victory over the Braves.
Puig also drew walk in the 8th inning off Julio Teheran, and came around to score on a Matt Kemp double. He was hitless in his previous two games, and was given Sunday off after dealing with hamstring tightness over the last few weeks. The Dodgers have a well-publicized overflow of outfielders trickling all the way down to the minor leagues, so it wouldn't be surprising to see Puig get more days off down the stretch if the hamstring continues to be an issue.ANALYST:
Adam Lind went 2-for-3 with a home run, one RBI, two walks and two runs scored against the Reds on Saturday
Over the past seven days, Lind is 8-for-26 with two home runs and 11 RBI. He is definitely having a surprise season over at first base and not saying that he was not capable of this type of season but we didn't necessarily see this coming. He is hitting .295 with 13 home runs and 48 RBI so far this season. That is great production out of guy that is owned in just about 50% of leagues. If he is available in your league scoop him up while you can, as he has shown through 78 games this year he is going to have a great season. Analysis: Dillon Conklin
Todd Frazier went 4-for-5 with two doubles against the Brewers on Saturday
Is it time that we include Todd Frazier in the conversation for one of the best hitters in the league? Because this guy can just flat out hit. He went 4-for-5 Saturday against the Brewers bringing his average up to .289 for the season. Not to mention his 25 home run and 54 RBI. Frazier continues to excel and is in the conversation for best third basemen in the league. If you have Frazier on your squad you are going to want to hold onto this guy for a long time.
