Jurickson Profar had a MRI and he's been cleared to start a throwing program.
The supremely talented young infielder has been sidelined for most of the season with right shoulder complications. He's been ruled out for the rest of the season, but he should be ready to compete with Rougned Odor for the starting second base job in Texas next Spring. He's an excellent "buy-low" candidate in dynasty leagues for owners who have packed it in for 2014. ANALYST:
Update: Corey Dickerson was removed from Saturday's game with a left quad injury.
While the news regarding Dickerson's plantar fasciitis was positive, he was removed after he fouled a ball off his back leg and is now day-to-day with what the team is calling a quad injury. When his leg appeared to be swollen, manager Walt Weiss opted to play it safe and remove Dickerson who had gone 0-for-3 in Saturday's game against the Giants. Consider him day-to-day for right now and figure he'll be a game-time decision for Sunday. Analysis: Howard Bender
