Making his Browns debut, Johnny Manziel completed 7-of-11 passes for 63 yards while rushing six times for 27 yards against the Lions on Saturday.
Brian Hoyer started the game, but Manziel relieved him midway through the second quarter and looked pretty good out there for a first-timer. Coah Mike Pettine is maintaining the illusion that Manziel still has a shot to start in Week 1 by announcing him as the starter for the second preseason game, but he should defer back to Hoyer to open the season. It's the right thing to do. Throwing Manziel to the wolves with such a weak supporting cast is just setting him up to fail. You simply can;t do that if you really want to make him the face of your franchise. Ryan Braun is not in the Brewers starting lineup on Sunday.
The Brewers outfield is off to a slow start this season, but is just getting a routine day off on Sunday. Logan Schafer, Gerardo Parra, and Khris Davis make up the starting outfield for the Brewers on Sunday. In other words, Lance Lynn (who is in the MLB DFS Playbook) should have no problem getting through this weak batting order. Analysis: Mark Kaplan
