Derek Norris went 1-for-3 with a home run, five RBI, a run scored and two walks against the Twins on Saturday.
Norris may have only logged one hit on Saturday night, but it was a big one, as he logged two RBI via bases-loaded walks and when a sixth inning three-run home run. Outside of deep AL-only leagues Norris was likely not on anyone's radar back in March, but now sitting on a .299 batting average with 10 home runs and 47 RBI, he is a viable option in all league formats and should be until he proves otherwise. Tom Brady completed 23-of-42 passes for 280 yards and three touchdowns in the Patriots 30-24 OT loss to the Broncos on Sunday.
Brady turned in one of his better games of the season and Sunday and while he's certainly had better numbers in previous games it is hard to ignore the lack of weapons on the offensive side of the ball that he had at his disposal with injuries to Dion Lewis, Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola over the last three weeks. Brady tossed three more touchdown passes on Sunday night, connecting with Rob Gronkowski, Scott Chandler and Brandon Bolden for the scores. Late in the fourth quarter the Patriots passing attack suffered another tremendous blow as Rob Gronkowski was carted off with a knee injury which at the time appeared to be severe and yet Brady still managed to drive the Patriots down the field for a game tying field goal try to send the contest into OT. If Gronk is forced to miss any extended amount of time the fantasy impact for Brady will take another big blow as the available offensive weapons will be reduced to the very bottom of the depth chart.
