Zack Greinke fell to 12-8 after he allowed four runs on eight hits and a walk with six strikeouts over six innings against the Brewers on Saturday.
Greinke has not been himself of late, allowing seven earned runs over his last two starts, with the home run ball being his worst enemy in that stretch (3 HR allowed). However, he is still sporting a solid 2.84 ERA and 1.16 WHIP through 24 starts, while striking out well over one batter per inning (9.69 K/9) while keeping his walks to a minimum (30 BB over 152.1 IP) as he remains one of the better pitchers to own in all of fantasy. He will look to get back on track when he takes on the Braves next Thursday.ANALYST: Matthew Beck
Jake Marisnick was 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored on Thursday night against the Royals.
Jake Marisnick had two hits from the bottom of the order which included a double and a run scored in Houston’s 5 -2 win over Kansas City on Thursday night. His double in the second inning with two outs kept the inning alive and Marisnick scored on a single by Jose Altuve before Yordano Ventura left the game after a rain delay in the second inning. Although Marisnick struggled in the second half, he did finish September/October with a .275 average with three home runs and seven stolen bases. Analysis: Greg Jewett
