Domonic Brown is not in Phillies starting lineup Friday.
Brown will miss yet another game with the same illness that has kept him out all week. It is apparently due to inflamed and/or infected tonsils but Brown says he will wait until after the season to have them removed. Hard to imagine that a decision like that wouldn't be up to team doctors which leads some to speculate that it may not be tonsillitis, but an acute case of can't-hit-the-ball-to-save-his-life-itis which has been known to put numerous ballplayers on the bench in favor of better hitters.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Mo Williams (knee) will play Friday against the Wizards.
As he has been playing through this knee issue, Williams' shooting percentage has been dreadfully low (23-percent). Considering this, do exactly what the Hornets are doing: play him with caution. Williams is a tealented guard, but be reasonable with your expectations, as he has struggled with his shot while dealing with the injury. Analysis: Dom Murtha
Brad Miller not in the Mariners lineup Friday because of an illness.
Considering Miller committed an atrocious 18 errors in a mere 107 games last season, one would be led to believe that he has the plate presence of Tony Gwynn in order to hold down the Mariners starting shortstop position, however that is not at all the case, as Miller hit a lowly .221, with 10 homers, 36 RBI, and boasted an inexcuseable .288 OBP in 2014. Stay away from him in drafts. Analysis: Dom Murtha
