Fantasy Player Updates & News  Better Than a Freeroll, Every Position Pays!

Billy Hamilton went 2-for-4 with a triple, one RBI and a run scored during the Reds' 4-0 win over the Indians on Thursday. He was also caught stealing for the 17th time this season.

Hamilton has now hit safely in six of his last seven games with three multi-hit performances and is batting .271 on the season. Nice right? Not to mention the 43 steals too. But while those numbers seem fairly solid, his .298 OBP and just two steals over his last 13 games continue to hammer home the point that fantasy owners overreacted in drafts this season and aren't getting the production they expected back in April. If you drafted Hamilton and failed to find a solid stolen base complement to him, you 're likely suffering in the category when you thought you'd be leading it by now. Lesson learned? We hope so.ANALYST: Howard Bender

Dorial Green-Beckham was arrested last week in Missouri because of an unpaid speeding ticket. He was later released when he paid the ticket.

Given Green-Beckham's history of off-field issues in college, you see the word "arrested" and immediately you roll your eyes and assume the worst. The bench warrant for the unpaid ticket is routine and once he paid the ticket, all was well. This won;t be an issue moving forward and so long as Green-Beckham keeps his nose clean, he could have a bright future in the NFL. Analysis: Howard Bender

Buccaneers have signed PK Conner Barth.

With Kyle Brindza going 1-for-3 on field goals and 2-for-3 on extra points his past week, the Bucs are turning back to their former kicker whom they cut in early September. Given the volatility at the position, his place on the roster isn't exactly secure. Analysis: Howard Bender

Zach Hocker could be in danger of losing his job as the Saints are trying out kickers Tuesday.

The state of the kickers this season has been an absolute nightmare and the anticipated volatility at the position is going to cause unrest all year. Hocker converted both a 29 and a 51-yard field goal, but missed a 30-yarder which could have won the Saints the game in regulation. The Saints ultimately won the game, but obviously there is concern. Stay tuned to see if they sign anyone.  Analysis: Howard Bender

Haloti Ngata (calf) will have an MRI on Tuesday.

Ngata was forced from Monday's game with a calf injury and knowing how lengthy an absence this type of injury can cause, the Lions will send their prized free agent acquisition for an MRI to determine the extent and if he is expected to miss any time. Expect the Lions to update his condition very soon. Analysis: Howard Bender

Andrew Luck is expected to play Thursday.

The Colts are adamantly standing by the belief that Luck will be under center Thursday despite dealing with a partial tear in his shoulder which was reported Monday. He went through a limited practice, but the Colts are obviously going to take it easy on him leading up to Thursday. Fantasy owners, be warned. While he might be able to play through this in the short-term, there is likely to be some trepidation each week that this could be the last game he plays before surgery is necessary. Obviously that's not a definite, but with what you invested to own him this season, you need to be on the cautious side. Analysis: Howard Bender

Karlos Williams sustained a concussion against the Giants Week 4. His status for Sunday is uncertain.

Easy come, easy go, fantasy footballers. As great as Williams has been, this concussion could set him back if it lingers at all. He'll go through the league's concussion protocol now and undergo daily tests to see if he can be cleared to play. With LeSean McCoy still dealing with his hamstring problem, the Bills could end up with Anthony Dixon and/or Cierre Wood as their starting running back this week against the Titans. Analysis: Howard Bender

Steven Hauschka connecting on both of his field goal attempts while adding one extra-point in Monday's 13-10 win over the Lions.

Hauschka has been one of the better kickers to own through four weeks as he has now connected on all 10 of his field goal attempts, with five of those being for 40 yards or more. Considering the currently inefficiencies of the Seahawks offense, expect him to receive plenty of opportunities to be a fantasy contributor the rest of the way.  Analysis: Matthew Beck

Kam Chancellor recorded seven tackles (six solo) in Monday's 13-10 win over the Lions.

Since returning to the Seahawks after his holdout Chancellor has picked up right where he left off as he also added a forced fumble in this contest. As long as he remains healthy he is going to rack up the tackles as he continues to be one of the most feared defensive backs on a weekly basis.  Analysis: Matthew Beck

Bobby Wagner recorded eight tackles (four solo) in Monday's 13-10 win over the Lions.

Through four weeks Wagner has already racked up 34 tackles having not gone below seven tackles in any of those contests. He remains a must-start in all IDP formats while playing middle linebacker for one of the better defenses in the league.  Analysis: Matthew Beck

Jimmy Graham caught four passes on five targets for 29 yards against the Lions on Monday.

After hauling in seven receptions in last week's blowout against the Bears Graham was practically a non-factor as he was used more as a blocker than in the passing game. Less production was expected following a trade to the Seahawks, but through four weeks he has yet to go over 200 yards receiving and has just two touchdowns as Russell Wilson continues to spread the ball using all his receivers, which will hurt Graham's fantasy value in the end. Analysis: Matthew Beck

Doug Baldwin recorded three catches for 36 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 13-10 win over the Lions.

After recording seven catches in each of his first two games, Baldwin has now seen just seven targets over his last two contests, resulting in six receptions for 71 yards and one touchdown. Although Baldwin is the most reliable receiver in the Seahawks passing attack playing int he slot, as long as Russell Wilson is under center his fantasy value will remain limited while all the receiving core gets in on the action.  Analysis: Matthew Beck

Jermaine Kearse hauled in two receptions for 84 yards in Monday's 13-10 win over the Lions.

Kearse managed to haul in both of his targets on Monday night as he recorded a season-high 84 yards. However, he has now been targeted only 18 times on the season, with 10 of those targets coming in Week 1, so a more consistent role int eh offense will be needed before gaining lasting fantasy value.  Analysis: Matthew Beck

Fred Jackson rushed for 21 yards on three carries while adding two receptions on four targets for 33 yards before leaving early with an ankle injury in Monday's win over the Lions.

Jackson received a heavier dose in the Seahawks offense with Marshawn Lynch inactive, but managed to find himself on the sidelines with an injury of his own. At this point in his career he has little to no fantasy value as he continues to be used primary as a change-of-pace back in passing situations even if healthy heading into Week 5.  Analysis: Matthew Beck

Thomas Rawls rushed for 48 yards on 17 carries while adding one receptions for negative yardage against the Lions on Monday.

Rawls was unable to build off of his breakout Week 3 performance as he average just 2.8 yards per carry in Monday's win. With Marshawn Lynch appearing ready to return for Week 5, Rawls' fantasy value will diminish significantly, but he is still worth holding onto as a handcuff in most cases. Analysis: Matthew Beck
