Giancarlo Stanton went 1-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and a run scored during the Marlins' 7-2 loss to the Pirates on Thursday.

Despite hitting .264 since returning from the All-Star game, Stanton has now logged six home runs and 13 RBI over his last 72 at-bats. Even if his batting average continues to drop as we get into the stretch run, his 27 home runs and 76 RBI more than makeup for anything lost along the way, as he remains one of the few elite power hitters in all of baseball.
