The Minnesota Timberwolves have reached an agreement in principle to send All-Star forward Kevin Love to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett and a protected 2015 first-round draft pick, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
It was reported earlier in the week that the Cavaliers and Timberwolves had reached a "handshake" agreement in regards to trading Kevin Love, and now it appears the details have been leaked. Although the Timberwolves will be losing Love if this trade does happen, they are getting more than any other team could offer, receiving the last two No. 1 overall draft picks plus another first-round pick in next year's draft. On paper, this is a win-win for both sides. ANALYST: Matthew Beck
Ray McDonald has been cleared by NFL in one of two cases.
Apparently there was not sufficient evidence to charge McDonald for the Domestic Violence charge that's been lingering over him since last season. The other charge is a sexual assault charge, which is still being investigated. It's unclear whether or not McDonald will actually miss any time during the upcoming season. Analysis: Spencer Silva
