Jeremy Hellickson allowed one run on two hits and three strikeouts over seven innings of work as the Rays beat the A's 7-3.
Hellickson had his way with the ice-cold Oakland lineup. It was his fourth and best start of the season, pitching seven innings for the first time since last season. So far he looks like the Hellboy of old, and should be owned in deeper leagues. ANALYST:
Jake Marisnick was 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored on Thursday night against the Royals.
Jake Marisnick had two hits from the bottom of the order which included a double and a run scored in Houston’s 5 -2 win over Kansas City on Thursday night. His double in the second inning with two outs kept the inning alive and Marisnick scored on a single by Jose Altuve before Yordano Ventura left the game after a rain delay in the second inning. Although Marisnick struggled in the second half, he did finish September/October with a .275 average with three home runs and seven stolen bases. Analysis: Greg Jewett
