TE Rob Gronkowski won't practice again Tuesday, as expected.
The Patriots are going to continue to be as careful as possible with their stud tight end. The Boston Globe reports that he "doesn't look like someone coming off a torn ACL/MCL." Right now he's primarily doing 1-on-1 work, but all signs point to him being close to getting into more 7-on-7 and full-team drills. This will just be a regularly schedule day of rest. Matt Cain is finally healthy and ready to be in the Giants rotation.
The three-time all-star is finally healthy. He hasn't been able to start more than 15 games in each of the last two seasons. If Cain can get back to the level he was pitching at during the 2012 season, the Giants will have a lethal rotation. Don't forget, they've won the World Series three straight even years. By our calculations after carrying the two -- it's an even year. Cain is a key compenent to the Giants success this year. Analysis: James Grande
