TE Rob Gronkowski won't practice again Tuesday, as expected.
The Patriots are going to continue to be as careful as possible with their stud tight end. The Boston Globe reports that he "doesn't look like someone coming off a torn ACL/MCL." Right now he's primarily doing 1-on-1 work, but all signs point to him being close to getting into more 7-on-7 and full-team drills. This will just be a regularly schedule day of rest. Carlos Gonzalez (knee) was removed from Friday's game for precautionary reasons.
To borrow one from Adam Carolla: Sssssssssssssssssssssshocking. Gonzalez has managed just 717 plate appearances combined in the last two years, and fantasy owners are all too familiar with his health woes. When healthy in the last two seasons, he's struck out a fair bit more than he ever has before, so we can longer treat CarGo as a top option when healthy. There's definitely upside, but it's hard to imagine him reaching it. Analysis: Brett Talley
