Ian Desmond went 1-for-3 with a double and a pair of RBI in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Marlins.
Desmond continued to have his best season at the plate in the month of July, slashing .306/.359/.482, which is the only month in which he has finished with an batting average north of .300 up to this point. Now sitting on a .250 average with 17 home runs, 64 RBI and 10 stolen bases, Desmond remains one of the best shortstop in all of fantasy, despite owning a miserable 31.3 percent strikeout rate. Marqise Lee is not practicing Thursday.
Lee missed practice Wednesday and now Thursday with the same ol' hamstring problem he's been dealing with for some time. He can be an incredible talent but he just can't stay healthy. With Allen Hurns and Allen Robinson available, the Jags can afford to wait on him, but fantasy owners should probably move on from him. Analysis: Howard Bender
Sean Lee (concussion) is at practice Thursday.
While Lee was on the field and stretching with his teammates, he still has not been given the green light by the league's concussion protocol. He will be limited to individual work on the sidelines if he doesn't receive clearance and his status for Week 5 remains in question. Analysis: Howard Bender
