After missing a couple of days with a hamstring injury, the Texans got running back Arian Foster back on the practice field on Wednesday.
Nothing wrong with taking a few days off to let a hamstring issue correct itself. Given the injury history of Foster, it was certainly the right move as there is little reason to believe that pushing him too hard, too early was necessary. He'll practice over the next few days will probably be out there for the Texans for their first preseason game.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Tim Duncan (rest) will not play Friday against Denver.
The Spurs will take advantage of the holiday and give Duncan an extra day of rest and get ready for Saturday against the Hawks. The Spurs could go with LaMarcus Aldridge at center for Friday and use David West at power forward or they could just give Boris Diaw the start. Either way, those are the three players likely to see the extra work in Duncan's absence. Analysis: Howard Bender
