Giancarlo Stanton went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI and a walk in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Nationals.

Stanton is now slashing .279/.380/.512 with six extra-base hits (2 HR), eight RBI and six runs scored since returning from the All-Star break, as he has picked up right where he left off in the first half. He is now sitting with 23 home runs and 71 RBI on the season, while ranking in the top 10 in every power category. Although the addition of both Casey McGehee and Garrett Jones were not that attractive this past off-season, they have certainly provided Stanton with enough protection to allow him to have a monster season up to this point.
