Davis Ortiz was all the offense the Red Sox needed as he wen 1-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, a run scored and a walk against the Rays on Sunday.

After a vicious three-game stretch without a home run, Ortiz finally came through for his fantasy owners with his fifth long ball in his last seven games. A horrifying struggle, we know. Big Papi's .251 batting average continues to be a struggle, but so long as he's hitting for power like this, the average can fall to the wayside. It also helps when he's got 12 RBI and six runs scored over these last seven games as well, so enjoy to surge in the counting stats and don't sweat the average so much.
