Mat Latos allowed three runs on three hits and four walks with six strikeouts over six innings against the Nationals on Sunday.

While he failed to grab the win, Latos bounced back from his last two outings to throw his fourth quality start in his last six. He did struggle with his command a little in this one, needing 99 pitches (62 strikes) to complete the six frames and walking four batters. But he pitched his way out of a few jams and managed to keep the damage to a minimum. Look for him to continue his upward trend with a start against Miami in pitcher-friendly Marlins Park next.
