Efrén Navarro smacked his first career major league home run Saturday against the Tigers, a two-run shot, to go with a walk in four plate appearances.

With Josh Hamilton now nursing an injury, Navarro is getting a nice opportunity to get some extra playing time and he's trying to make the most of it and prove his worth to the Angels. He's hitting .313 on the year through 67 at-bats but could stand to show a little more consistency at the plate from game to game. That may come with experience, but unless he puts it together quickly, he could be seeing moire bench time when Hamilton comes back and J.B. Shuck is still up with the big club.ANALYST: Howard Bender

David Lee will start in place of Draymond Green on Saturday.

Lee will get the start and could have some nice fantasy value in the game. He is worth a look in fantasy. Analysis: Ben Diamond

Tony Allen is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against San Antonio.

Allen suffered a left hamstring strain in his last game, and is likely to be a game time decision. If he is unable to play, Jeff Green could end up getting the start and is worth a look in fantasy. Analysis: Ben Diamond

Manager Brad Ausmus says Bruce Rondon has not necessarily cinched his spot as a Tiger.

There's a very good chance that Rondon gets onto the 25-man roster, given that he is a very talented pitcher, and that dinosaur Joe Nathan is the Tigers' closer. The comment was more likely to motivate Rondon than anything else, and he remains a solid hand cuff for Nathan owners along with Joakim Soria. Analysis: Ben Diamond

Rangers released OF Nate Schierholtz.

Schierholtz was informed that he would not make the team, and the outfielder opted to request his release from the club instead of being sent to the minors. He'll now search for another club that can provide him with a spot on the 25-man roster. Analysis: Ben Diamond

Dwyane Wade (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday.

Wade just had his knee drained, and he may not end up playing on Sunday if the Heat don't feel totally confident in his health. If that is the case, Tyler Johnson is likely to see a boost in playing time.  Analysis: Ben Diamond

Al Jefferson (knee) is listed as questionable for Saturday, but as of now is in the starting lineup.

Jefferson is dealing with a minor knee injury, and it looks like he will not miss any time with the issue. He may still be scratched from the starting lineup, but for the time being he is a safe start in fantasy. Analysis: Ben Diamond

Update: Juan Carlos Oviedo has requested and been granted his release by Rangers.

Oviedo has been out since March 14th due to bicep tendinitis, and after being informed that he would not make the Rangers' big league team, he requested his release from the team. He is now free to sign with any club.  Analysis: Ben Diamond

Gary Neal (ankle) will not play Sunday against New Orleans.

Neal will miss his fourth straight game due to an ankle injury, and is likely going to miss at least a few more games. The Timberwolves have yet to give Neal a firm timetable for return. Analysis: Ben Diamond

Nikola Pekovic (ankle) will not play Sunday against New Orleans.

Pekovic has been out since March 11th with an ankle injury, and could end up missing the rest of the season. While he is out, Justin Hamilton will see an increase in value, and is worth a look in fantasy. Analysis: Ben Diamond
