Fantasy Player Updates & News  2016 MLB Draft Guide Is Here!

Rockies SS Troy Tulowitki has flown to Philadelphia to consult with sports hernia surgeon Dr. William C. Meyers.

We're not sure if this is a bad omen or just the team being cautious, but Tulo seeing a specialist of any kind can't be good. We'll await an update from the team before jumping to conclusions, but this is suddenly turning onto more than just a quick trip to the DL.ANALYST: Howard Bender

Langston Galloway scored 14 points (6-of-11 FGA) going 2-for-5 from three-point range with five rebounds, five assists and two steals over 29 minutes Tuesday against the Wizards

With rookie Jerian Grant struggling as of late, the Knicks have gone to second year guard Galloway a bit more and it has been paying off for them as he has given them solid minutes and production. He could have been the savior on Tuesday night as he just missed a three-pointer to tie the game as time expired but regardless he was still able to finish with a respectable line of 14 points with five rebounds and five assists. It will be interesting to see how interim head coach Kurt Rambis deals with Galloway off the bench and definitely something to keep an eye on being if he sees more playing time he could be a nice addition to your benches.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Robin Lopez scored 14 points (6-of-9 FGA, 2-of-2 FTA) with eight rebounds, one assist and one block over 27 minutes Tuesday against the Wizards

Lopez has put together a nice run of production for this Knicks squad so far in February as he is putting up just over 14 points a game to go with 11 rebounds. Despite the burst of scoring out of Lopez, he has shown throughout his career that it is not sustainable thus making him a non-factor in the fantasy world. He has found a nice niche on this Knicks team but he is nothing more than a role player on a mediocre team.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Carmelo Anthony scored 33 points (12-of-22 FGA, 6-of-6 FTA) going 3-for-6 from three-point range with 13 rebounds, two assists and two steals over 39 minutes Tuesday against the Wizards

Anthony showed up for the Knicks and newly appointed head coach Kurt Rambis on Tuesday night as he went off for 33 points and 13 rebounds. Anthony has found it smooth sailing against this Wizards team this season as he went off for 37 points in an earlier match-up. Heading into the All-Star Break, Anthony has to be viewed as a top tier option due to his high volume scoring but also because of his willingness to fight for rebounds and dish the rock when his shot is not there. He has morphed his game into a more winning type so let's hope that the rest of this Knicks squad buys into Melo as they make a push for the playoffs. Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Kristaps Porzingis scored 20 points (8-of-14 FGA, 2-of-2 FTA) with five rebounds, three assists and three blocks over 30 minutes Tuesday against the Wizards

Porzingis got off to a slow start on Tuesday night but really turned things up as he scored 13 of his 20 points in the third quarter. The rookie sensation has slowed down a bit over the past two weeks and it may just be due to fatigue so do not look too into this as the All-Star Break should help him out to get his legs back under him. He should still be viewed as a viable option at the PF position as he has shown a nice combination of scoring and rebounding to this point the year.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Bradley Beal scored 26 points (8-of-14 FGA, 5-of-9 FTA) going 5-for-8 from three-point range with three rebounds, two assists, four steals and one block over 32 minutes Tuesday against the Knicks

The masked man was at it again on Tuesday night, as Beal, wearing the mask to protect his recently broken nose put up 26 points. Beal has recently been inserted back into the starting lineup after dealing with a minutes limit to monitor his injury situation. He has been a nice boost to the offense this season as he is averaging 18 points a night to go along with two assists and three rebounds. Going forward, Beal should be a mainstay in the starting lineup and someone who has the talent and tools to put up big numbers a nightly basis. Insert Beal into your lineups as he is a raw scorer and will show that the best is yet to come this season. Analysis: Dillon Conklin

John Wall scored 28 points (10-of-24 FGA, 5-of-6 FTA) going 3-for-5 from three-point range with five rebounds, 17 assists and steal over 43 minutes Tuesday against the Knicks

Wall put together a monster night Tuesday against the Knicks as he torched them for 28 points and 17 assists. Without a doubt on the year, Wall has been the main contributor for this Wizards team as expected but has lacked consistent production alongside him. With Beal back into the fold and healthy, look for Wall's assists numbers to spike a bit and look for him to stick right around his 20 point a game average going forward. He should be considered a must-start as he has been a premier point guard in 2016.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Marcin Gortat scored 14 points (6-of-9 FGA, 2-of-2 FTA) with 10 rebounds, one assist and two blocks over 28 minutes Tuesday against the Knicks

Gortat has been the focal point down low for the Wizards so far this season as the front court has been banged up pretty much all year long. On the year, Gortat is putting together nice averages sitting just below a double-double on a nightly basis. With the center position a slim pickings outside of the top five in the league, you can rely upon Gortat for consistent production going forward making him a viable fantasy play. Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Otto Porter Jr. scored 13 points (5-of-6 FGA, 3-of-3 FTA) with two rebounds, two assists and one steal over 28 minutes Tuesday against the Knicks

Porter is another player on this Wizards team that seems to be enjoying his new role in the starting lineup, as he is averaging 11 points with four rebounds a game over his past 10. Porter has a lot of hype around his game but has yet to really breakout after being the 3rd overall pick in the 2013 draft. He has increased his production however this season bumping up his averages from 6 points per game to 12 this season. Look for Porter to continue to gain confidence and turn into a nice wing player for the Wizards and one you can count on for some bench production on your fantasy squads. Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Jared Dudley scored 14 points (5-of-8 FGA, 4-of-5 FTA) with three rebounds, two assists and two steals over 31 minutes Tuesday against the Knicks

Dudley has been solid over the past 10 games for the Wizards as he is starting to be a fixture in the starting lineup. With the Wizards under performing as a team to this point in the year, they have used different rotations but have now seemed to like keeping Dudley in the mix. In terms of fantasy, Dudley does not provide much value as he is only averaging eight points with three rebounds a game currently. Do not rely upon Dudley for much production but he could be a nice contrarian play if looking for a cheap option in DFS.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin
