The Philadelphia Phillies are telling teams that might be interested in trading for CL Jonathan Papelbon that they would absorb a portion of the $18 million remaining on his contract. However, there appears to be little interest.

Papelbon's financial situation would put off some clubs, but his decreased fastball velocity is prolly more of an issue, as well as the couple of bad outings he had before shutting down the Giants this past Thursday.
