Brian Hoyer (knee) is still wearing a knee brace in practice Saturday.
Hoyer enter's training camp in competition with rookie Johnny Manziel for the team's starting quarterback job, but after what he displayed prior to his season-ending knee surgery last season, it is likely Hoyer is the guy come Week 1. Either way neither quarterback has much upside with Josh Gordon suspended for the season. ANALYST: Matthew Beck
Aramis Ramirez confirmed that 2015 will be his final season.
Ramirez will turn 37 in June in what will be his 18th major league season. He was a legitimate 30-home run threat during the prime of his career, but now here we are 10 years past that prime and he's more of a 15-home run threat these days. Injuries were a big part of his decline and he's missed an awful lot of games over the years, but considering how bad the third base position looks this year, one last go-around with A-Ram might not be the worst thing in the world. Just make sure you have a viable back-up option. Analysis: Howard Bender
